Installing the Megascans Plugin for Unreal Engine 4 on Linux

Unreal Engine can only be installed from source on Linux. As a result, the Megascans Plugin for Unreal Engine 4 does not come with pre-compiled binaries on Linux.

In order to use the plugin, you will have to download and install our plugin and then re-build Unreal Engine 4 so that the plugin gets installed.

This will have to be done for every new plugin update.
