We're working on providing fresh updates of Mixer for both Windows and Mac OS currently. We do not exclude Mixer for Linux and we'll make it available for Linux if possible!

The absence of mixer on Linux, this is the only reason why I have both systems in parallel, since the course is taken for openness and free of charge, the version for Linux suggests itself)

Definitely second this. We run CentOS and a Linux version would be great

I can't speculate on that publicly at this point but however Linux requires the distribution is the most likely method we'll use to deploy it.

I was expecting it to be released with Mixer 2020. Since there is still no Linux version, it's becoming worrisome. I hope Quixel didn't change their plans about this.

Definitely hoping for a Linux version. We Linux users are still very active developers and would love to use Quixel Mixer. The software looks amazing! Please keep us in mind!

Yes, Linux please! I was so happy when I saw the new Mixer and so disappointed that it is not available for Linux.

The Debian family (Ubuntu, Debian, Mint etc.) is imo the best to go for, since they are the most common distros.

Many in this field are working on Linux nowadays, so it really does not look good that you are missing a Linux version.

Thanks for coming back so quick. :) I'm glad to hear that. :) Hope it won't be too long though. xD After Substance went 'adobe' I kinda stopped subscribing.. I use mostly Open Source and non-adobe software in my workflow, and your mixer app would most definitely fit nicely in there, that is for sure.

Has anyone gotten it to install on Linux through Source Code?

No, not yet. Any news, I've been out of the loop for a bit. :)

I got UE4 installed though open source, and installed quixel through download.

Currently testing it right now through flathub to have a cleaner download and also an icon.

I am very new to Linux so I don't think I will be much help, but I think the issue is UE4 needs to be downloaded via, open source, so any plug-in might have to be downloaded the same way.
