Hi AndyB, which version of Mixer you are currently running? We plan on doing some UI/UX improvements including what you just mentioned above, in the near future.

    Best,

    Hi Jin

I am using the most up to date version I presume 2019.2.1. What version was the tutorial done on?

As we are in Beta, our version on our tutorial videos change all the time. Especially when the tutorials are weeks or months apart. But no worries, we are working on constently improving Mixer! After all, we are in Beta for this reason: free public beta access + your feedback is a win-win!

Stay tuned for upcoming near future updates.

I'm using Mixer 2019.2.2 Beta and bevel modifier only allows whole numbers. so you cant change the bevel angle between 0 and 1...blah.

I do think you need to use the bevel option within the pattern mask to add bevel decimals.

Hey! I just started myself, and had the same problem. I kinda figuered out a "dirty workaround"(dirty, because, it' s probably not optimal, again, no idea what I'm doing). You can get around it by adding some Clamp and Gradient Remap mask modifiers on top of each bevel. It's an old thread, I know, but mby some newby like me finds it helpful.

    Edit:

Noticed that gradient remap above second bevel mod was pretty useless, once u add brightness/contrast. Also, don' t be afraid to play around with modifiers and their values a bit as long as you get the intended result.
