I am trying to export different metals from bridge to 3ds max 2020 with vray next. I am using a simple scene with simple lighting and my own materials, including metals, look fine.
Megascans metal materials cause issues, though. They all look like plastic, with the Fresnel option in the vray material being activated and metallness at 0. The vray displacement mod modifier appears to have wrong values, the "amount" value is 5.969 cm. Could someone point me to the correct workflow for exporting metals from the bridge into 3ds max 2020 with vray?
I have installed the MSLiveLink, my system units and system unit scale are cm. My bridge version is 2019.2.2
Edit: I have come to the conclusion (though I hope to be wrong) that bridge currently does not at all export any correct metal materials with vray next. Also every time I export a material, I get a vraydisplacementmod added to the selected object with the exact same settings (3D mapping, no texture map, amount 5.969 shift -0.984).
