Please add support for Wacom ASAP.  I think this program has great potential, but I will not be able to use it in my workflow without tablet support.

    Thanks

Hey Nathans, this is our plan for the Mixer 2020 release. I don't know which one exactly (first version or the following ones) but definitely targeted for the Mixer 2020 release!

Now that Mixer has 3D model painting, I really see the need for tablet support. Hopefully soon then!

Hey guys, I have 3 monitors now and my tablet working space divided between two of them, I tried to setup Quixel Mixer the same settings but it's not responded on me settings, is it issues with Wacom tablet drivers or with the quixel software?

Tablet support still not implemented yet CGBangbang. I hope their next update will have it! We all need it so much now.

Thanks that clear the information Robert Ramsay, I thought that it's already implemented and issues on my side, hope that they will include tablets support, yep.

I just downloaded the latest Mixer and it still looks like Wacom tablet is not supported.  I love your product, but this really is needed yesterday.  What is the timeline on adding this?

Yeah, that's why a lot of people still use Substance Painter instead of Mixer

  • Hi NathanS - please refrain from bumping year-old threads. You're welcome to create a new post for questions, but we don't speculate publicly on release dates for software we're developing so we're unable to provide an answer to that question. When support can be provided, we'll make an update and definitely let everyone know.

With regards to why users might choose one software over another, that's all down to personal preference. Mixer as it exists is a work-in-progress and is not a finished tool. We're always working on updating it. As it is right now, it's a heavily competitive tool for being entirely free-to-use with no payment required whatsoever to work with it.
