Bridge not download anything right now
AnsweredI just resubscribed and updated Bridge. Sadly, Bridge seems to have a problem downloading things. I can't download surfaces. I can't even download the Unreal Engine export plugin. It will say "Downloading..." then just get stuck there. When I try to download a surface and check the details, I see that there is no data being transferred at all. Any ideas how to fix this?

- Could you record a video for us showing the issue happening?
- Are you logged in when it happens? I suppose yes (otherwise you wouldn't be able to download).
- Are you sure your internet connection is not the cause?
- Are you using a VPN?
- If not: Where are you located? This will help us to know which server you are using based on your location. You don't have to answer this question if you want full privacy!
The more information we have, the more we will be able to localize the issue! Last but not least: could you share with us the Bridge log file? Again, if you prefer full privacy we can switch to email. You can find the file here and then upload it on like Google Drive or an alternative.

- I'm mostly sure. I can download surfaces through the Megascans website, but not through Bridge. I don't see any other issues with my internet.

Hi everyone, I had the same problem.
To solve it, I uninstalled bridge and after I deleted the entire bridge folder present in the app dataC:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Bridge
Check also that bridge.exe is allowed by the firewall (if in doubt, mine was not allowed)

No reason to make another similar thread so...
Recently I've decided to check on Megascans with UE4, but encontered a problem with Bridge. I can't download any asset through it, but have no problem via website. With 300mb/s I should be able to download it fast, but nothing happens.
The same goes to UE4 plugin. Infinite downloading, I don't have any options to choose my version.
Actually, to even try downloading the plugin, I had to have some assets downloaded, which I did from the website, imported it in bridge and finally option to export appeared.
I have Unreal 4.22.3 and 4.24. I know the latter one doesn't fully support it yet. Manual installation didn't work either.
I reinstalled bridge 3 times so far, with deleting every bits of data associated with it I could find.

I found this solution somewhere for login issue, but actually it works for me for mentioned problem as well.
So:
1 - quit Bridge app
2 - proceed to C:\Users\<YOUR USER NAME>\AppData\Roaming\ ("AppData" folder hidden by default)
3 - delete (or move to any other place) "Bridge" and "Megascans Bridge" folders
4 - Open Bridge (it will rebuild those two deleted folders)
I found this procedure safe and easy method to bring the Bridge to work again for every issue I had.
Please note, that you will lost your settings and will need to make them again. But for the moment I'm still looking for better solution, so if someone will have one - share it please :)

I can confirm that deleting the AppData/Roaming folders "Bridge" and "Megascans Bridge" and restarting the software did in fact force a rebuild and Bridge downloaded and installed my export plugins AND allowed downloads and exports once I logged in.
This was instant, no reboot, took 4 minutes.
