    Thanks for the report, we're looking into it! Hang on for a bit, I'll see what I can dig up on this issue.

    I've figured out at least that I only get a white channel for my metal because I was channel packing into the alpha channel, I get a black metal value if I pack it into another channel. So I guess that is kind of an unrelated bug.
