Mixer not connecting / Not allowing log in
CompletedI was able to log in and use Bridge and Mixer earlier today on a different macOS machine (Mojave), without issue. This evening, on a different macOS machine (High Sierra), I was not able to log into either application. I deleted the user files for Bridge on this machine, and that fixed the Bridge login issue.
With Mixer, however, it says there is no connection to the internet, both through the Epic login and the regular Quixel login. I deleted Mixer, did a fresh download and install.
Now when I try to login through Epic, it says that it failed to receive data. With the regular login, there is the same error message about no internet connection (though, obviously with this post, my internet service is working).
Any work around for this problem?

Hi,
Could you please go to C:\Users\[Username goes here]\AppData\Roaming\Quixel\Quixel Mixer\Settings and delete the settings file, and try again?
"AppData" is a hidden folder in the above-stated directory. If not visible then ensure that the option for "Show hidden files and folders" is enabled in the Folder Options of your Windows Explorer.
Let me know how it works out.

Hi,
Please send in an email to support@quixel.se with your Mixer log file, found at
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Quixel\Quixel Mixer\Player.log

I tried a complete uninstall of all things Mixer, then installed a new Mixer. Still the same issue. Currently downloading the latest version of Mixer (2020.1.0_Beta) to see if that will allow me to login.
UPDATE: Wonderful...the installer for 2020.1.0 did not initially run, until it final it after many attempts. But after that, the same issue persist and I cannot login/use Mixer.

Player.log (from last attempt to run Mixer)
If on Mac, does Mixer require a Metal enabled GPU now?
I also noticed the lines with"UserID":"null" in them.

Hi,
Make sure local firewalls (e.g. Windows Firewall) or antivirus programs are not interfering with your connection or blocking Mixer's connection to the internet. Here is an article explaining how to allow/block applications in windows firewall https://winaero.com/blog/allow-block-apps-firewall-windows-10/.

I'm still having that same issue with Quixel (with Bridge I have no problem), I deleted the settings file, added the firewall rule, even disabled the firewall, but I got nothing. And even worse, when trying to login it disconnects me from my WiFi network, is there any solution for this issue?

Did not worked for me as well (I didn't had the proxy enabled). But I went into my account to see if I could get some info over there and found a workaround for the Epic login. This is what I did:
You go to your account on the top right corner, click on your profile and then click on "Account", after that you'll see your downloads (in my case I have both Quixel and Bridge), then click on "Offline Licence" then a studio.lic file will be downloaded to your computer. After that open Quixel and on the login go to the bottom right part, and you'll see "Activate with license file" (or something like that). You browse for the file that you downloaded (which is linked to my Epic account) and voila! I had no trouble working with Quixel.
Hope this helps someone else with this issue.
