Brush during painting is pixelised

Hi,
I'll be very grateful for help. I am trying to reproduce painting tutorial on fresh Quixel Mixer installation on macOS Catalina and instead detailed brush I get some pixelised square displacement.

    Looks that it is platform dependent not unexperienced-user problem :-) . Just installed on my second computer which is HP with Windows 10 onboard and everything works great and fast.

    I'm having the exact same problem. None of the brushes seem to work. Mixer is only using the maximum square area to rise or lower the surface. Mac OS Catalina, latest version. When using the eraser tool instead the correct brushes are used. Waiting desperately for a fix here.

    Hi Jin, doesn't matter, just used default  values. Same on pc worked fine. Just downloaded latest 2010.1.0  beta and problem still exist.

    Hi, I'm having the same issue, Macbook Pro running OSX10.15.5. Quixel looks great but I am unable to sue it. Would you please let us know how to fix. Looking at the same and other tutorials. many thanks
