    Thank you! Worked wonders. Awesome. I have another question. I have imported some material from your library into 3DS Max (Arnold Renderer) but seems like no displacement etc was imported (check photos) I have everything possible downloaded in quixel, so its def not that. Is it some kind of bug ? Thanks

    I upgraded to Max 2021 and the plugin is not supported. 2021 came out 7 months ago, how long will it be before this is fixed?

    (Update) I did uninstall 3Ds max 2021 and install 3Ds Max 2020 but the script is still not work.

    Hi guys, nice hot fix, but PLEASE, some of us are battling with production deadlines, and even though that hot fix works, it seems that displacement is not going through for me. PLEASE help!!!!!! This is getting stressful :/ Thanks in advance. D

    It does work with the environment variable and 3ds max does seem to load, but it doesn't end there.
    But some rendering engines, (Corona Renderer among them) ignore this fix when starting up in DR and you will end up with a loop of crashes.

    We still gonna need an official fix.

    I'm not sure if people are still having this issue but I had some success with running 3dsmax in admin mode and then dragging the python script (as shown in the script path from Bridge) into a new script window. I then evaluated it and hey presto, the live link button appeared.


    Find the file that this relates to and then just drag that script directly into a new max script window


    Then press evaluate. The MS Livelink window should appear.

    The script isn't working for me either in normal or admin mode.

    It is throwing up an error..... unfortunately I don't understand what it's saying as I can't read code!

    Never had this problem before. Only with 2021.

    Downloaded the update, but once you download the 3ds Max plugin, the part for where the script is supposed to show up and you copy it doesnt.

    Export doesn't work

    I have similar issues,

    but I've found a way to run it, in 3ds max 2021 go to  scripting - open script, select a file in megascans assets folder named MS_API.py 

    in may case it was L:\Megascans_Bridge\support\plugins\max\4.15\MSLiveLink\MS_API.py

    Than just evaluate the script in 3ds max 2021

    Its does not work with my 3Ds Max 2019. Even with the new update, why do u guy have to make thing so fucking complicated. I'm pissed off. 
    My Bridge account now keep ask me to subscribe a plan. I can even export a 3D assets for free to test the plugins in my 3Ds Max. I clicked the download plugin button and then, not even a thing show up, a script code like before, but now nothing happen when my Bridge account is fucking expired. 

    I just want to try to test it out to make sure its worth to subscribe a plan., its not working for a half of year. Please!!!!!!!. 

    And you guys do not give me a choice to delete the Bridge and Mixer for at least 3 times a months cause I'm getting crazy.

    TLDR: The plugin installation is automated now but make sure your Max is not running.

    Hi everyone, I apologize for the confusion, I should have shared more information regarding the new plugin update. 

    The new plugin is a one-click download/install. You don't need to copy and run scripts anymore. We did that to decrease the number of steps that our users have to do when installing the plugin. If you downloaded the update 4.15 of the plugin then you are good to go. Make sure you restart your 3ds Max if it was already running.
