Can't start Unreal Engine 4 after installing Megascans Plugin
Hello
Please be aware I am using Linux. I am trying to export some assets from Quixel Brigde to Unreal Engine 4.23.1. But every time I start Unreal Engine I get the following error message:
"Plugin 'MegascansPlugin' failed to load because module 'MegascansPlugin' could not be found Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project."
I have tried installing the plugin in both Unreal Engine 4.23.1 and Unreal Engine 4.25.1 but it seems to give the exact same error message on both versions when I start unreal Engine. I have no idea how to fix it. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

This post is a month old, but I am using Linux and trying to get Bridge to make a bridge to unreal engine. Pun blatantly obvious. :P
I have not gotten the plug-in to successfully sync, but I have ran into your issue several times, its actually a simple fix (at least for me it was)
Go into your source unrelal engine files "UnrealEngine/Engine/Plug-ins" and just delete the Megascan Plugin folder.
Let me know if this helps -
Same problem for me with 4.25.3. How did you get the plugin to work @LUNARIA?

iamchriswick Unfortunately, I did not get the plug-in to work. The lack of Unreal Engine support for Linux compatibility is the biggest obstacle. The only idea I have left is to get the plug-in through open source and see if its more compatible that way.

Finally got a solution, Lunaria and linuxUser3!! Followed the suggestion given at https://help.quixel.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360013366778/comments/360003295458 and now it works perfectly :D
