I wish to paint in the plane view (in 2D) for a part of the mesh but I cannot see the UV in the plane view. I can see the base color that I painted on top in 3D but that's not enough as I need to paint on top of an edge for more accuracy. So how do I enable the UV overlay in the plane view. If possible do also let me know about how you could see the UV edges in the 3D view as well if that is possible.
