Login with epic account / google account

Hi,

 

This picture says it all.

I can't login trough epic games using my google account because java is not enabled.

 

this used to be working fine.

p.s. I have the latest update.

    Same problem here, Mixer, web, and epic games launcher logs ok though, only Bridge.

    Sure jonathan, what would you like to know?
    I run a rog laptop 32gb ddr4 RTX 2070 8gb
    Windows 1909 build 18363.1139
    Latest version of Chrome. Latest version of epic launcher.
    Latest version of Bridge.

    Everything worked fine until some days ago, can't really tell when because I'm working on a pixel art game atm..

    I tested logging in with mixer as well. no problem there.

    it's just bridge.

    Same issue.  Whatever web browser that's been programmed into Bridge, it's no longer acceptable for logging into Google.   It doesn't appear Bridge loads the End User's default browser when it launches windows.

    Until they get this together, the only work around seems to be to login to Quixel web site (outside of Bridge) assign yourself a password, then go back into Bridge and sign in through Quixel rather than using the Google Account pass-through.

    Hi all,


    Thanks for the reports. Due to security changes from Google's end, this error has been popping up for users trying to log in via Google. We're working out a permanent solution, but in the meantime you can use this workaround to log in:

    • Sign into your epic games account in the browser and go to https://www.epicgames.com/account/password
      ​​
    • Add a new password associated with your login. This means that you can continue to sign in with Google and also sign in directly with your email address and the password you created. If you already have a password, you can use it in the next step.
    • Now open Bridge, and choose the first option “Sign in with epic games” and enter your google email + the password you have set up on your Epic Games account page.

    This workaround doesn't work for me, because Epic login through Bridge asks to pass the Capture but fails to display it, so I can't pass it =(

    Same here.
    I have been in touch with Quixel Mixer support but none has get it yet.
    Till today i am unable to login mixer and because of that impossible to test Mixer.
    Awkward it that i have Bridge with the same account method login and all OK there. Inside Quixel webpage login accept as well. Inside EPIC login OK too.
    Whats happen with mixer?
    I see i can have to get back to boundig boz software - Materialize tool.
    Please, find a fix for it.
