This is a known issue we'll be working to address in future updates to Mixer. Thanks for the report!

    Hi Jonathan,

Was this ever resolved or is it still under review for being addressed? We are considering changing our workflow, but this problem seems to kill the power of the procedural meshes. The displacement is a nice features but the gaps it creates on hard edges like a cube is very problematic. Here are several screenshots showing the cube as visualization and a sand material. The only way I have found to prevent the gaps is to reduce the displacement which in turn reduces the appearance of the texture.

Material: Desert Sand, All Settings Default, Cube Visualization

Material: Desert Sand, Threshold cranked up to 1.114, Cube Visualization

Material: Desert Sand, Threshold reduced to -0.179, Cube Visualization

It hasn't been resolved yet. We're unable to speculate as to when it will be, but we do appreciate your patience in the interim!
