    Hi Alphane,

I have gone through your report and the problem you are facing. This error shows up in a situation when a registry, which is required by Mixer, is missing from your system but no worries we are here to help. I am going to share a workaround below. Please perform the steps at your end and let me know how it goes.

    STEP 1: CLEAR SETTINGS

    • Close Mixer if running.

    • Navigate to the following path:
      C:\Users\[Username Goes Here]\AppData\Roaming\Quixel\Quixel Mixer\Settings
      Delete the Settings folder.

    STEP 2: SET DATE/TIME

    1. Open the date time settings on your computer by Start>Settings>Time & Language:
    2. Turn off Set time automatically:
    3. Turn off Set time zone automatically
    4. Set your time and and time zone manually by selecting them from the drop down. Please adjust the timezone and time/date according to any US based region.
    5. Make sure Adjust for daylight saving is turned off.
    6. Save settings and close it.

    STEP 3: RESTART SYSTEM

Now that you have deleted the files and adjusted the time/date, close everything and restart your system.(important step)

    STEP 4: REGISTRY EDITOR

    1. Open the Registry Editor. In the search bar, type regedit. Select the "Registry Editor" application and launch it.

    2. Go to the following path in the editor:
      Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation
Or you can navigate to the folder from the left panel.

    3. Check if a valid time zone is present in the TimeZoneKeyName entry (As I have mine highlighted below in the screenshot) and let me know.

    STEP 5: LAUNCH MIXER

Now is the time to launch Mixer and see how it goes.
-Right click on the Mixer app and select run as administrator.

Hope it works. Please get back to me with the results. :)

    Best,
    Urooj
