Hi everyone. Am enjoying my first experiences with quixel mixer at the moment very much. There are still a couple of things I do not get though. This may be a noob question, but still:
How can I move around an already masked layer, having the mask "locked" to the content as it is moved? I know I can translate, offset and tile the layer, but that is before applying a mask stack. I also know that I can for example do a scatter on the mask stack, but that just seem to scatter the mask only, and not the entire masked content.
What I would like to do is a composite of multiple rock surfaces, stealing only the parts I like. But I need to do so, tiling the surfaces a lot since I need surfaces that can cover very large areas, hence the need for a composite of sorts in order to as best hide obvious tiling artifacts.
Help would be much appreciated!
