1. Import custom mesh
2. Load in material ID map
3. Apply a test surface with a material id mask and select gun barrel
4. Hit reload material IDs
5. Watch as all your hard work is destroyed
Surely this can't be intended behaviour?
Kinda renders the software unusable for any non trivial work. I can't swap out my meshes to paint undersides and obstructed elements without requiring the material ID to be reloaded (as this refreshes the display)
