I'm having a problem where Mixer is interpreting two different material ID colors as being the same material.
To demonstrate, I made a solid material layer using the material ID texture and masked it to "red". As you can see, orange appears as well as red.
"Bright yellow" is an entirely different group.
This may be the issue from this thread, but it may not be. The colors getting confused in my case are pretty far apart (red and orange) and I don't see any instances of the second problem described in it (group mixing).
I'm using a blender plugin to make this ID map, but I could manually modify it if these specific colors are the problem. The algorithm picking out colors looks biased towards greens, maybe?
I tried greatly increasing the size of the ID map, to avoid blending, but it had no effect on the issue even when there were very few overlap regions.
