Hello dear support team,
I'm currently working on a job and encountering a problem.
I've imported a model from 3D's Max. Before exporting it from Max as .fbx I triangulated it and used the following export settings.
And after applying a few different smart materials I'm witnessing this strange behavior where the edges of some faces show up in this weird way. I tried exporting the same model with varios other settings (as seen above but some options ticked off) but nothing helped.
I will admit I'm new to Mixer although I've been using Bridge and the Megascans Library for a good while now. I've searched for posts showcasing the same problem but couldn't find anything. Hence writing this support question in hope to understand what's causing this and how to solve it.
Also just as a side note I would really appreciate a guide in the future for how to properly prepare models from 3D's Max for Mixer. Especially in terms of the actual mesh (is triangulation before exporting really needed?) and also the easiest way to create UV maps that are good enough for use with Mixer.
Thanks in advance,
