UE5 build in bridge exporting but don't show in project
AnsweredI created a new 3rd person project to test the release. Found the new Bridge plugin (great idea guys!) and exported a few assets, but while the plugin says "Exported" they're not showing up. These were Nanite assets, and unlike in the desktop version I don't see any shortcuts for support (log files, etc), so I'm stuck.

Hello Dan,
Thank you for writing in! When downloading and exporting assets from Bridge in UE5 would you kindly confirm the Asset ID and Quality Setting used in your project where you've experienced this issue?
I was unable to reproduce the issue when using the following workflow.- Select the desired asset in Bridge by going to Content > Quixel Bridge in UE5
- Set the quality of the asset to be downloaded (Low, Medium, High, or Nanite - this will vary depending on the asset type.
- Select the blue "Add" button once the asset has been downloaded to add the asset to your scene.
- Press CTRL + Spacebar to bring up the Content Browser
- Drag and drop your asset directly into your scene.
Alternatively, you may also drag an asset directly from Bridge into UE5 once it has been downloaded.

Hi Ian,
I tried it yesterday with tk3vefefa and tk3vefefa with the same workflow you described, hitting the add button said "Exported" or something similar but nothing in the content browser. This morning I just tried the Add button again and now it worked, and created a Megascans directory. So unfortunately no more info than that other than it did glitch yesterday. Thanks -

I have the same problem. it saying exported successfully and nothing in the project shows up.
also, another problem is I downloaded lots of assets in Quixel Bridge but when I'm trying to load any of those from content > bridge, none of them is in the bridge and yes I set the same library for both.

I have the same issue. I successfully installed a number of Surfaces a week ago to a UE5 project and put them to use with no problems. Tonight I attempted to install some more and I experience the same issue as the OP (except mine are surfaces). I Download them successfully and attempt to add them to my UE5 project via the +Add button, but no luck - I see the "Successfully exported 1 assets" popup, but the surfaces are nowhere to be found in my project. Dragging them directly from the Bridge window onto an actor in the game again shows the "Successfully exported 1 assets" popup but the material in the actor does not change (and the Surface is again not shown in my Content).

I was having the issue where the add button just won't work after downloading an asset in UE5 early access. I finally resolved the issue by changing the library path in preferences of bridge to a different drive. I guess it was having trouble writing to C drive due to admin privilege perhaps. There was no popup requesting for admin privilege when the library path was set to default.
