UE plugin not working with 4.27
AnsweredI recently installed UE 4.27 and I want to use Megascans with it as I usually did with previous engine versions. I updated Bridge to its latest version (2021.0.3) so that in the export settings I can now see Engine Version 4.27. I tried to install the plug-in a few times with two different results.
At first, it said plug-in installed, but when running the engine I wouldn't see the Megascan icon, and exports would fail saying that the engine must be running in order to work. Then I deleted the Megascans folder from the Engine/Plugins folder in order to re-install it, but now when I hit "Install Plugin" it just says "Try Again", without specifying any error.
I checked my engine install location which is defaulted to C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_4.27\Engine\Plugins
That's the same path I have in selected in the Plugin Location line. I restarted bridge and Unreal Engine 4.27 multiple times now, with no results, other than the Megascans folder is now gone from "C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_4.27\Engine\Plugins*.
Am I missing something? Thanks for any help.
