Normal Map Artifact
AnsweredTo get around an export to Redshift error I export to Standard and then rebuild the material. However, no matter what I have tried there seems to be an artifact produced by the normal map. Below are two images of the rock with and without the normal channel enabled in substance painter. I see the same artifact in the rendered image with C4D R25 and Redshift 3.0.58. Is there a workaround? It seems like the lighting might be baked into the normal map.
The model is vgjicivmw_4K_Normal_LOD0

Thanks for posting! C4D R25 is currently not supported: https://help.quixel.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002073717
Cinema 4D R25 support will be potentially added in the future. We can't speculate on when, but you can always manually import assets for now. We do appreciate your patience in the meantime!
