Export to Blender Artefacts
AnsweredWhen I export a 3D asset from Bridge to Blender, even if it's LOD0 with 8K textures, there are strange looking sharp borders between lots of faces, that are easily seen when rotating an HDRI and the light source is at a certain angle. I can't figure out a way to fix this.
It gets better the more I subdivide it, but this doesn't seem like the right solution for an asset that's LOD0. Also, even with a high subd count, at some point, certain areas remain the same.

Hi Laila Shahzad! Thank you for the response. I'm currently on Blender 3.0.1.

Thanks for sharing! That might be the reason you're facing issues, since Blender 3.0 is currently not supported by our Plugin functionality: https://help.quixel.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002073717. So when you attempt to export from Bridge to Blender 3.0, the proper settings are not tweaked accordingly for Blender 3.0, for example, maps in the wrong slots, which affects how the asset looks in the Engine.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but while we work on a release, you can manually import our assets into Blender 3.0: https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/files/import_export.html
