MS plugin doesn't install, though bridge says it is
AnsweredAfter dealing with lots of trouble, only to resolve how to succesfully get Bridge to export assets to Maya without having the error messages popping out, I find that Maya never gets the plugin truly installed, even though Bridge says it is and even showing that the asset has been exported "succesfully". I find it quite annoying how little feedback and control the Bridge platfom provides to be able to set things manually, and even more frustrating the little info there is to be able to finally get all this work properly, as it is supposed to do from the start. What I would like to know is how can I force the plugin to get installed in Maya 2022 and how to make it work so i can export the Bridge assets to my projects. Where is it supposed to be located and which files should I look for and place in the correct folders?
Just in case:
- I already tried following all links to guides that were provided in other forums about this same problem but none of them were even clear nor useful enough.
- I have also reinstalled both programs several times trying different settings, and even deleted the "Megascans settings" file to rewrite the export paths.
- Changing the port number makes Bridge say it exported "succesfully" but it's worthless cause the plugin is still missing in maya
- Using Custom Socket / Disk Export doesn't make it work either.

Nope, they refuse to help cause "somehow" It is "illegal" to use them on Maya, even though the app lets you choose any destination freely and without telling you nothing about this.
So better to uninstall it if you are not using it on Unreal. Because unless your PC links them correctly, you won't find a way to fix It.
It's been a nice deception. :)
