    Hi @CRG_, here’s what I learned eventually:
    1. Doesn’t work on a Mac. Apparently metahuman in Maya needs DirectX, which doesn’t exist on Mac;
    2. On Windows, you have to (well at least in my experience) have Unreal installed, and ideally have exported your metahuman from bridge into UE at least once, before exporting it to Maya, otherwise nothing would show up.
    Ian the support guy told me some of these info piece by piece over a week-long message exchange. The rest I just figured out by pure luck and my unrelenting resolution not to give in to shitty UX design, hideous engineering, and a complete disaster of a (lack of) documentation. After what I went through, I feel it’s my responsibility to share what I found out when I see your post, so hopefully you might find it useful and suffer less than I did.

    Hi crg_,

    Please note that MetaHumans are not currently supported within Maya on macOS. They are supported for export to UE4.26+. You can find this info at https://docs.metahuman.unrealengine.com/en-US/HowTos/ExportingMetaHumans/

    Alannn, Maya 2022 is not supported for MetaHuman export on Windows. Please try 2020 or 2019.
