Need Help: UE5 Bride plugin won't work

hello need help with making the plugin work in UE5 i just got it downloaded a day ago, so both of them (UE5 and the quixel bridge plugin) are up to date.

i know this problem be around and while i did google it and tried to fixed it so far nothing helped.
when i first open the plugin in side of the engine i get the error: "background service stopped" and the option to "restart now". if i hit the restart it will then try to run "node.js" and asking me to give permission to run it, i hit "yes" and i get the error in the plugin "Failed to restart background service" i went into my firewall and added "node.js" file into the list as i read in one of the posts on here, but it didn't helped.

if i try to log into my epic account inside of the bridge plugin i get "logging fail".

i read as well that you can change "Library Path" i clicked the "profile icon" in the right top corner of the plugin then went into the "Preferences".

and "past" a new location folder that i made for this, but when i hit "save" nothing happens . and if i reopen the Preferences tab again the "Library Path" is empty if i put another path into it and try to save nothing happens again.

at this point i don't know what else to do because i tried everything i could find on the problem in the forum and google searching the problem.

need help with this thank you very much.

Hello,

Our engineers fixed the issue that some users were experiencing.

Solution 1(For users who installed UE from Epic Games Launcher):

1. Close Unreal Engine, if already running. (You can not update the plugin if the Engine is running in the background)
2. Run Epic Games Launcher, go to the Unreal Engine Library and click on "Installed Plugins" under UE5 Early Access.
3. This will open up a new window and you'll get the option to update the plugin.
4. Once updated, launch Unreal Engine 5 Early Access. Now you'll have the updated plugin incorporated!

Solution 2(For users who installed UE from a Custom Source Build):

1. Navigate to Engine/Plugins/Bridge.
2. Download and replace the following files: https://d2shgxa8i058x8.cloudfront.net/bifrost/Bridge-Windows-2021-0-4.zip.
