Manually import models
AnsweredHi
I'm sorry if this seems obvious but I just can't figure it out and don't find an explanation or tutorial for this. Since the bridge plugin for Blender 3.0 is not yet working, how can I manually import models into Blender? All the tutorials are explained with the Bridge plugin but I don't find any other import tutorial. Is there an instruction on your website?
E.g. if I download a model I get a ZIP file, what do I do from there? (Materials are OK, just the model itself?).
Thank you and kind regards,
Franziska

Hi,
Thanks for posting. You'll find the relevant information in the documentation for the Engine/DCC you're attempting to manually import to, so for you, that will be Blender 3.0's manual. I hope this can be a good starting point: https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Reference/Release_Notes/3.0/Asset_Browser
You can also take a look at the Bridge manual, which you can find within Bridge in the Help tab.
