Some textures don´t display correctly

my team and I are working on a project in UE4 and most of the time we are using our own textures made from scanned objects. However some of the textures don´t display correctly in Quixel Mixer- which we wanted to use for UV mapping. Colors are missing and the whole texture is warped with a color distortion. Everything in the project is set to default, no changes in settings, just a simple import of the images to albedo. All images are in *jpg (the good ones are as well). The working resolution is set on 4096 px. We are using version 2021.1.2.- Beta.
