Cant export metahumans to ue5
AnsweredHello, im trying to add metahumans to my game. It's all downloaded to my computer (had to switch download quixel bridge location) I think it's because i have downloaded the wrong megascans plugin. But there's not any option to download the plugin for ue5 from quixel bridge. I have downloaded the Bridge plugin for ue5. But i can only download the megascan plugin for 4.27 and lower it doesn't work tho. I downloaded the metahuman from the bridge app on windows. not ny unreal engine. I have tried downloading from unreal engine's bridge menu but when i press download it does nothing and if i check the "local" tab it can't find the metahuman i have already downloaded. If possible can you guys maby direct me to a manual megascan plugin download for ue5? and yes i have changed the download location for ue5 for the bridge menu.

Hello MrZondyz,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out on the forum. Please note that the external or "standalone" version of Bridge is not capable of exporting to Unreal Engine 5. For that, you'll need to use the built-in version of Bridge that is packaged within Unreal Engine 5 to download MetaHumans and then add them to your project.
You can access Quixel Bridge within UE5 by going to the "+" Icon in the upper left-hand corner of the UI and selecting "Start Quixel Bridge" or by right-clicking in the Content Browser and selecting "Quixel Bridge." -
Hello nikinoo8,
Thanks for reaching out. Please ensure that you've created your MetaHuman using the "latest" version of MetaHuman Creator (MHC) from the MHC website as there are two versions; Latest, and Original.
Metahumans created in Latest, are available for use in UE5, while MetaHumans created in Original are for use in Unreal Engine 4 and Maya.
Please note that you'll be able to see both sets of MetaHumans in the standalone version of Bridge, however, MetaHumans intended for use in UE5 cannot be exported by the standalone Bridge.
