How to preview materials and assets in integrated bridge?
Not plannedHow can I preview the assets and materials in the UE5 integrated bridge before downloading them? In standalone bridge, I can make the preview larger, but in the integrated bridge, the preview is just tiny window on the top right, which is pretty much useless, if one is downloading a material of high frequency detail. For example, I am unable to pick a leather texture to download because in the preview, it just looks like different types of solid color material with no texture:

I don't believe we have that functionality in the tool. It's meant to be a drag/drop system into the engine, not a previewer. Any previewing would require that Bridge download the preview files, and for it to be an accurate preview it would have to be representative of the full resolution texture set that accompanies the material.

You do, just not in the UE5 downgrade version of Bridge:
The drag and drop argument sound ridiculous. I can not imagine having to wait through the trial and error process of downloading up to several gigabytes of assets just to find the one I am looking for, and then having to manually delete all the ones I did not need, just so that the bridge won't eat up all my hard drive space.
Can you honestly imagine any other service that provides high volume data graphics assets, which doesn't provide the users with proper preview of the assets, and the official answer is "just download all of them and see if it's what you need"?
