  • Hello altycnerkc,

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. With the recent updates made to Unreal Engine 5 and MetaHumans, there are now two separate tabs for custom MetaHumans within the standalone Bridge, UE4 MetaHumans and UE5 MetaHumans. In addition, there are also two different versions of MetaHuman Creator (MHC), one that works with Unreal Engine 4 (original MetaHuman Creator), and the newer version that works with Unreal Engine 5 (Latest MetaHuman Creator).

You can access both of these versions from the MetaHuman Creator website. Note that the version of MHC compatible with Unreal Engine 4 can be launched by selecting the "Launch original MetaHuman Creator" link beneath the blue "Launch latest MetaHuman Creator" button.

While MetaHumans created in either version of MHC will be visible in the standalone version of Bridge, only MetaHumans created in the latest version of MHC will be visible within the built-in Bridge included with Unreal Engine 5. In addition, MetaHumans created with the new Mesh To Metahuman plugin are only available for use in Unreal Engine 5.

Please also note that you'll need to be logged into MetaHuman Creator with the same account that you're attempting to access your MetaHumans in Bridge with. Because some users have multiple accounts (a paid account for use in multiple DCCs and Unreal Unlimited for use with Unreal Engine 5) it is possible that your MetaHumans may not appear as expected if you're not logged in with the same account in both places (Bridge and MHC).

Within the latest version of MHC, you can see the account name that you're signed into in the upper-most left-hand corner of the UI. However, if you're unsure of the login ID you're currently signed in with, please launch MetaHuman Creator from an Incognito Browser. This will force you to sign in again so that you can make sure you're making changes on the correct account.

Please also note that MetaHuman Creator is a cloud-based application. Because of this, MHC is susceptible to overload from the large number of users attempting to work with it at the moment.

We recommend giving your character designs some time to generate within Bridge - once the systems aren't overloaded with user requests, your character will likely appear and be ready for use. Please let us know if an extended period of time has passed without your character appearing and I'd be happy to be of further assistance!

    Firstly thank's for contacting.

I know both version. I am using like 1 year both program. But when I tried import new my metahuman created with mesh, this button is not working. I can download without any problem. Also when I check the details of files from local storage, this files looking like second photo "uass". Also I tried the other metahuman created without mesh and I import UE5 without any problem.

    Regards.

  • Hello altycnerkc,

Thanks for getting back to me. The screenshots you have shared appear to be in order. I've attached a screenshot of one of my own MetaHuman file folders to compare. I believe that the language set on your PC is Turkish, I apologize if I am mistaken - that being said please ensure that there are no special characters in the file path name where your custom MetaHumans are located or in the name of the MetaHuman itself as Bridge often encounters errors with special characters.

Please let me know if the issue continues, or if there are no special characters and I would be happy to be of further assistance!
