    Thank you for contacting us!

Can you please share how you attempted to use the USD converter from Bridge? Bridge does not support USD/USDZ conversion for the custom socket exporter. Currently, USD/USDZ conversions are only supported with Custom Disk export. Also, may I know what is your export destination in this case?

This wasn’t answered, not sure why it’s marked as answered.

Answered means we've responded to the thread. Completed means we've solved it. We haven't resolved this issue yet, so it's only marked as Answered because Talha Ahmad (Product Support Engineer) responded.

Please follow Talha's directions so we can get you up and running again. Alternatively, we can create a ticket and take this to our ZenDesk system.

Thanks Jonathan - I appreciate the response and thanks for clarifying the flairs.

Also, may I know what is your export destination in this case?

Our propriety engine supports USD, but to be honest, that doesn't really matter as we handle assets through the custom socket exporter long before they hit the asset builders.

Can you please share how you attempted to use the USD converter from Bridge?

Unfortunately I no longer have this code, but I recall attempting to make a call to some executable in support\utils\USD\bin, that were created when running the disk exporter.  There is clearly some call to python as the debug text in the top right corner indicates that when the export button is used in that mode.

What I am looking for is essentially that code, such that I can invoke it as part of consuming the JSON packet in my custom socket exporter server.

Thank you for providing the requested information. I have relayed your feature request to add USD/USDA Support for Custom Socket Exporter to the relevant team.

Furthermore, I have requested the Bridge team to share the code/pseudo code that would help you with resolving the issue you're facing. I am creating a support ticket for this as well. I will be sharing the updates about your request via email.

I have now created 3 ZenDesk tickets for the issues you've posted. I'll be providing you with updates about all the issues separately on each ticket thread.

Please let us know if you have any further questions!
