When exporting texture does not appear in 3dsmax

    Some of our users faced a similar issue with the latest version of our plugin. But it has since been fixed. Please follow the steps below for a clean revamp of the 3DS Max plugin: 

    i). Removing the existing plugin:

    1.  Close 3ds max, if already running.
    2. Run Bridge and go to Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Support and Restart. (This will remove the downloaded plugins from the Bridge's library)
    3. Go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20XX - 64bit\ENU\scripts\startup and delete the Quixel.ms file. (if present)

    (20XX stands for your version i.e. 2021,2022,2023) 

    ii). Reinstalling the plugin:

    1. Make sure 3ds Max is closed.
    2. Launch Bridge and go to Edit > Export Settings. Set 3ds Max as the Export Target and click Download Plugin.
    3. Install the plugin.
    4. You can verify if the latest version of the Plugin is installed by opening 3ds Max > Megascans > MSPlugin.

    After revamping the Plugin, kindly attempt to export the assets again and see if the issue is fixed. Make sure you have "Apply the material to selection" enabled in the plugin interface.
